We had these camping and they were SO GOOD! I haven't made it myself yet, but here are the directions my aunt gave me....
Pizza Crust:
3 1/2 cups flour
2 packages dry yeast
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 cups luke warm water
1/2 tsp olive oil
Toppings:
Pizza Sauce
Cheese
Pepperoni
Sausage
Pineapple
Olives
Mushrooms
Whatever your favorites are....
In mixer add dry ingredients, then slowly add water. Mix until dough is firm and smooth. Stop mixer. Pour oil down the side of the bowl and turn the mixer back on for a couple of turns. Leave in bowl and cover. Let rise until the dough doubles. Turn mixer on for a couple of turns and then let rest another 10 minutes.
Once the grill is hot, grab a small amount of dough from the bowl, roll flat into a small personal sized pizza and place on the grill. (You can add as many as will fit) Cook until golden brown, flip the dough over and cook for just a second. You want this side to have a nice sear and not be sticky....but not the cooked golden brown of the other side.
Take the pizzas off the grill and add toppings to the golden brown/cooked side of the dough. Place back on the grill and cook until cheese is melted and the crust is a nice golden brown.
SO GOOD!!
