2 qts apple cider
1/2 C frozen orange juice
1/2 C brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp whole cloves
2-3 cinnamon sticks
orange slices
Tie allspice, nutmeg, and cloves in a cheesecloth bag (or coffee filter), then combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and simmer on low 2-3 hours.
**Tip**
If you are going to have it simmering all day, remove orange slices, cinnamon and spice bag after first 3 hours. If you leave it in too long it changes the flavor completely....and not in a good way!
