Tequila Lime Chicken

1/2 cup gold tequila

1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (5 to 6 limes)

1/2 cup orange juice (or 2 freshly squeezed oranges)

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon minced Serrano pepper (1-2 peppers)

1-2 tablespoon minced fresh garlic (3-6 cloves)

2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

handful of fresh cilantro, chopped

3 chicken breasts


Combine the tequila, lime juice, orange juice, chili powder, Serrano pepper, garlic, salt, pepper and cilantro in a large bowl. Add the chicken breasts. Refrigerate 3-4 hours to overnight, depending on how strong of flavor you desire.
Grill chicken.
